THOUGHTS AND HAPPENINGS A FEW

-For some reason a picture of a very young Joan Baez and Bob Dylan made me cry. However: the tears did not come out of my eyes, but rather my ears. I know this sounds stupid and unbelievable and really, IT IS, but for all intents and purposes... I swear to god the tears came out of my ears.

-Sometimes a bunch of army guys come to the bar on thursdays. They are pretty nice guys! Last night some guys came in who were not the army guys, but Team Canada Paintball troupe or league or whatever. Weird. They were kind of like the army guys, but shittier. Think about that.

-I tried to make a joke that I sole from The Office. It was a joke based on the movie Airplane. If someone says "you can't be serious," you can say "I am serious. And don't call me Shirley." It's a bad joke about a bad joke. I realize that I am always making jokes based on pop-culture references that are based on pop culture references.

-The other day I had a thought: real love can be measured by how many jokes you can share with another person.
