A NEW POEM ABOUT A GUY NAMED JOE
I've posted a few of my cut-up Fantastical Geographic poems. I prefer to think of them as condensed stories. I'm not sure if I've told you that I make them by reading and cutting apart an article from National Geographic, throw away what isn't necessary and make a new story. It's kind of like being a geologist chipping away at a rock to find a diamond or something. This new poem is from an article called On the Trail of Wisconcon's Ice Age from 1977. Please click to view it better:

MY BOX, BABY
For a while I've been meaning to document my haphazard, yet beloved VHS movie collection. I'm not sure if I'm a real collector... it just happened.

Look how dorky!

I've been dreaming of these slick VHS box-sets. Wow. Gorgeous.

Do these count? Probably not... but honorable mention. Yes, those are my Magic cards.

This is a DVD box set, I know I know it doesn't really fit but jeez so glad I have it. Look at how amazing Tom Baker is!!! Anyways... there's more where that came from!

DOROTHY PARKER
"My love runs by like a day in June,
And he makes no friends of sorrows.
He'll tread his galloping rigadoon
In the pathway of the morrows.
He'll live his days where the sunbeams start,
Nor could storm or wind uproot him.
My own dear love, he is all my heart, --
And I wish somebody'd shoot him."
